Doha, Qatar - Education Above All (EAA) Foundation and the Qatar Foundation Alumni Office have joined forces to launch Skills 4 Good, a volunteer-led initiative designed to equip students at EAA's Assalam Schools with practical skills and career insights.
Through one-hour sessions, QF alumni, staff, EAA staff, and EAA Scholars and Youth Advocates will engage students in practical Career Deep Dives, Skills Workshops, and Leadership talks. The initiative aims to provide students with opportunities to develop useful skills, ask questions, explore different career pathways, and build confidence to make informed choices about their future.
Sara Keshaish, Enterprise Development Senior Officer at EAA Foundation, explained: "Skills 4 Good brings practical experience directly into the classroom. By connecting students with professionals from different fields, we want to give young people opportunities to develop useful skills, ask questions, explore different careers and build the confidence to make informed choices about their future."
Asmaa Al Kuwari, Manager of Alumni Engagement at Qatar Foundation, added: "Our alumni have so much to offer, and we want to create meaningful opportunities for them to use their knowledge and experience to make a difference. Skills 4 Good brings that to life by connecting our alumni with young people, allowing them to share what they have learned, inspire ambition, and help the next generation see what is possible."
This collaboration not only creates volunteering opportunities but also fosters a stronger culture of giving back, utilizing collective experience to create lasting impact on the next generation's educational and career pathways.
