Dolphins want a team built on toughness, Hafley’s first win showed that identity taking shape

Miami Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley's team demonstrated their identity of toughness during their first win of the season, a 28-25 victory over the New York Jets. Running back Ollie Gordon was stopped just before the two-minute warning, forcing Hafley to make a crucial fourth down decision. Offensive line members unanimously agreed to go for it, and the risk paid off as kicker Malik Willis connected on the play, giving the Dolphins the lead.

This decision showcased the physical and resilient approach that Hafley and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan have been promoting since their arrival in Miami.
