CARRYING CONFIDENCE: Proteas show early hand, riding the winning momentum into Newlands decider
Fast bowler Gerald Coetzee will replace the injured Anrich Nortje for the third Test against Australia starting at Newlands on Tuesday.
The Proteas displayed early confidence ahead of the decisive third Test against Australia at Newlands. Fast bowler Gerald Coetzee replaces the injured Anrich Nortje, with coach Temba Bavuma confident that Coetzee, despite limited recent appearances, can make a significant impact in the bowling attack. The team lineup remains unchanged from their impressive victory last week, with the Proteas aiming to win back-to-back series in South Africa for the first time since 1970.
Australia, facing batting concerns at the top of the order and injury clouds over star players Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne, will need strong performances from the middle order and all-rounder Beau Webster to pressure the Proteas.
