A Helping Hand launches Christmas gift appeal and charity quiz for local families

A Helping Hand Food & Clothes Bank in San Luis is seeking community support for two initiatives during the festive season. The charity is collecting new gifts for needy children, particularly teenagers aged 13 to 15, with suggestions including toys, clothes, toiletries, and gift sets. Donations can be made at the food bank located at Avenida Deva 315, open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Additional collection points are available in various towns and businesses across the area. Meanwhile, A Helping Hand is also organizing a charity quiz fundraiser on November 17 at Legends Bar in El Raso to assist a young mother-to-be facing hardships after escaping an abusive relationship and losing her family support. The event, which takes place from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, costs €15 per person and includes pie and mash as well as quiz participation.
