José Mourinho, the Real Madrid head coach, used the opportunity to deliver a light-hearted jab at a faction of Barcelona supporters following Sunday's Clásico. Real Madrid emerged victorious in the La Liga match, securing a 2-1 triumph thanks to a brace from Kylian Mbappé. The visitors encountered a frosty reception from the home crowd in attendance at the Spotify Camp Nou during the clash.
Upon speaking to the media in the aftermath of the game, Mourinho seized the chance to retaliate at the Barcelona faithful, dedicating Los Blancos' three points to the Blaugrana. He quipped, "I dedicate this win to the Barça fans who did not let me take my nap in the hotel today. They came to the hotel and kept singing all day; I couldn't take my nap. Well, I didn't nap, but I did beat their team… A big hug to them!"
