Inclement weather and wind gusts exceeding 40 mph forced officials to cancel Sunday's scheduled final round at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course. According to Yahoo Sports, none of the 72 players who made the cut were able to tee off on Sunday morning. Due to an unfavorable weather forecast for Monday, the PGA Tour announced that tournament results would be considered final through 54 holes.
As a result of the tie, Seamus Power and Austin Smotherman will play off to determine the champion. New Straits Times reports that Smotherman finished Saturday with a five-under par 66 for a 16-under par total, while Power followed with a four-under 67 to pull level at the top of the leaderboard.
