Raphinha talks Mourinho, Vinicius, Valverde, fitness ahead of Barcelona vs Real Madrid: ‘Still working towards 100%’

Barcelona striker Raphinha has revealed that he is not yet at full fitness for Sunday's El Clasico against Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou. The Brazilian is still recovering from a thigh injury he sustained while playing for Brazil during an international break, which led him to withdraw from the national team as a precaution.

Hansi Flick is preparing his team for what is expected to be one of the most significant matches of the season, and Raphinha's fitness status is a crucial factor in their preparation. The winger has returned to action but admitted that he is still working towards reaching 100 per cent fitness, although he remains in good condition.

When asked about Jose Mourinho's return to Camp Nou, Raphinha emphasized the importance of Barcelona's fans supporting their team throughout the match. He also downplayed the impact of Vinicius Jr.'s absence, highlighting the numerous talented players available for Real Madrid to call upon. Raphinha praised Federico Valverde's versatility, noting that the Uruguayan's ability to play both midfield and full-back positions provides Real Madrid with a significant tactical advantage.
