James Abaka, popularly known as Dadesen Wura, dies in road accident

James Abaka, widely recognized as Dadesen Wura, has tragically passed away in a road accident that occurred along the Amposie-Brofoyedu stretch. Along with him, seven others sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical attention at St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu. According to reports, Mr. Abaka was en route back to Assin Fosu following his representation of his local church at a funeral held in Adansi Huruyie. He was among eight passengers in a silver Toyota Voxy when the accident unfolded.

The vehicle is believed to have experienced a sudden blowout of its rear tyre, causing the driver to lose control of the car. As a result, the Toyota Voxy veered off the road and collided with the surrounding foliage. Sadly, Mr. Abaka was killed instantly at the scene. One of the survivors, Isaac Mensah, informed Alfred Amoh that the passengers had detected an unusual sound emanating from one of the rear tyres prior to the crash.

Despite being alerted to the issue, the driver expressed his intention to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic following the journey to the main station. However, it was later revealed that the tyre burst shortly after the warning was given, leading to the unfortunate accident.
