Jagan’s family feud gives Chandrababu Naidu fresh ammo: ‘Kamsa mama, no family values’

Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has seized upon the ongoing feud within his political rival's family to bolster his campaign ahead of local body elections. Days after Y S Sharmila accused her brother YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy of denying her family the use of their Bengaluru home for her daughter's wedding, Naidu has lashed out, calling Jagan "Kamsa Mama" - a reference to the mythological Hindu king slain by Lord Krishna.

Naidu accused Jagan of lacking family and moral values, and of mistreating his mother and sister over property disputes, alleging they were denied their rightful share in the family property. The feud between YSRCP and Naidu's Telugu Desam Party has intensified as both sides trade allegations of attacks and intimidation against their candidates, ahead of the local body polls.
