In-form Italy talent Tresoldi nets third hat-trick in 26 days

Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi has been in exceptional form recently, netting his third hat-trick in just 26 days. On Sunday, Tresoldi scored all three goals for Club Brugge in their 3-2 win over Sint-Truiden in the Belgian Pro League. This brings his tally to seven goals from only four appearances in October, including three in the Champions League – all coming in a 4-3 victory over Inter Milan.

The 22-year-old has also scored a hat-trick for Germany's U21 team in a 4-1 win against Malta on September 30, bringing his overall goal tally to 12 from 14 appearances across all competitions this season. Italy national team fans are hopeful that Tresoldi will commit his senior international career to the Azzurri, having been weighing his options and expected to continue playing with Germany's U21s until the end of the European Championships this summer.
