I watched 3 movies with JBL and Samsung's 2026 flagship soundbars — here's the one I'd choose and why
Which 2026 flagship soundbar reigns supreme: Samsung Q990H or JBL Bar 1300X MK2? Here's the model I'd buy and why.
Cheap soundbars often come with a hefty price tag. Flagship soundbars, such as the JBL Bar 1300X MK2 and Samsung Q990H, are no exception. Priced over $1,500, these premium soundbars are a significant investment. Despite the cost, purchasing a high-quality soundbar is an investment in an immersive home entertainment experience. Two flagship soundbars currently on the market are the JBL Bar 1300X MK2 and the Samsung Q990H.
The JBL model was released in late 2025, making it the current flagship, while the Samsung model was released earlier in 2026. Both soundbars represent the pinnacle of soundbar technology, offering unparalleled audio performance.
