Cruzeiro and Corinthians reach Brasileirão Under-17 final

Cruzeiro and Corinthians have advanced to the final of the eighth edition of the Brasileirão Under-17 tournament. The teams will play at home to face Atlético-MG and Red Bull Bragantino, respectively, in the championship clash.

In their semifinal match, Cruzeiro defeated Atlético-MG 3-0 in a Minas Gerais derby. Goals came from Taylon, Otávio Gabriel and Isaque Barros, following a goalless first leg. The other semifinal saw Corinthians and Red Bull Bragantino draw 1-1. Samuel Alves scored for Red Bull Bragantino and Ronaldo for Corinthians. Corinthians emerged victorious in the penalty shootout 4-3.

Both Cruzeiro and Corinthians are aiming to win their first title in the competition. The final will be decided over two legs, with the first leg taking place next Saturday, November 31, followed by a return match on November 3.
