Former lawmaker Dino Melaye has ridiculed the current economic hardships in Nigeria in response to an Ebola outbreak announcement. Melaye quipped on his verified X account that Nigerians are not concerned about the Ebola outbreak because they have been enduring a worse crisis for over three years. He sarcastically urged, "Bola! Bola pass Ebola," implying the economic troubles under President Bola Tinubu are far worse than the virus.
Melaye, known for his humorous political remarks, suggested that Nigerians have grown desensitized to bad news due to the country's economic situation.
