3 sekeluarga maut MPV berlanggar kenderaan TNB di Dungun

Three Malaysian families met a tragic end in a car accident involving an MPV and a TNB four-wheeler on KM 90 Kuala Terengganu-Kuantan road near Loji Air Bukit Bauk, late afternoon yesterday.

According to Dungun Police Chief Nik Ab Halim Nik Mat, the police received reports of the accident at 5:15 PM. The incident involved an MPV and a TNB four-wheeler, with three fatalities on the Nissan Grand Livina, Mohamad Zulkefli Ishak, 32, and his wife Norshila Zali, 36. The 18-year-old son of Zulkefli, Muhammad Alif Syukri Ishak, was also pronounced dead at Dungun Hospital around 7 PM after receiving medical treatment.

The crash occurred when the MPV carrying the three family members was en route from Kuantan to Kuala Terengganu, colliding with the four-wheeler coming from the opposite direction. Two occupants of the TNB vehicle, Mohamad Syafiq Nasrullah Said, 39, and Muhammad Fadhlan Abd Manan, 32, sustained minor injuries. All the bodies were transported to Kuala Terengganu's Sultanah Nur Zaharah Hospital for post-mortem examination, with the case being investigated under Section 41(1) of the APJ 1987.
