US congressional elections: He came in person: Trump has cast his vote for the midterms
He speaks out against mail-in voting, but has already made use of it himself. Ahead of the parliamentary elections, Donald Trump is choosing a different path.
US President Donald Trump has cast his vote early for the midterm elections, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence is located in the state, where he had traveled over the weekend. The President displayed a "voted" sticker after casting his ballot. Critics have accused Trump of previously using absentee voting, despite his opposition to it, and argue that his efforts to tighten voting rules aim to weaken Democratic voters, who often vote by mail. The US midterm elections will take place on November 3.
