Unfair to compare us to Barca, says Real Madrid’s Mourinho

Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho has dismissed comparisons to Barcelona, insisting it is unfair to judge his team against the Spanish champions. Despite Barca's consecutive La Liga titles and unbeaten league record, Madrid have won their last four matches, putting them third in La Liga, six points behind their rivals. Mourinho, who has only been in charge for a few months, emphasized that his team is in the early stages of development and should not be compared to an established powerhouse like Barcelona.

He stressed that the Clasico is a unique event and that the results before the match have no bearing on the outcome. Mourinho also confirmed that he will not alter his tactics to counter Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, acknowledging the player's talent but maintaining the importance of staying true to his own approach.
