Tinubu a prodigal son, with no identity - Dino Melaye

ADC chieftain Dino Melaye has harshly criticized President Bola Tinubu, branding him a "prodigal son with no identity and lineage." Melaye took to X to voice his disapproval of Tinubu's recent acquisitions, including the purchase of an Airbus and a yacht for his presidential duties.

Melaye argued that Tinubu was the first Nigerian leader to acquire such luxury items, contrasting it with former President Buhari's decision to use a previously owned jet. The ADC member suggested that Tinubu's lack of established identity and connections within his family – such as father, mother, and siblings – earned him the title of a "child with no identity."

Acknowledging the potential for backlash, Melaye humorously proposed a contest offering N5 million for anyone who could trace Tinubu's lineage. Despite the intense search, no one could provide information on his family background within four months.

Melaye's remarks came as a stark warning about the state of Nigeria's political landscape, asserting that never before had the country faced such severe challenges or witnessed such a decline in governance.
