AP Alchemy, Yang's agency, released a statement on Friday stating the allegations made by an unnamed individual, referred to as "A," were false and that the evidence provided had been maliciously edited.

The agency's statement came after talks with both Yang and the woman involved. Earlier on Friday, A, an acquaintance of Yang, alleged on social media and during a livestream that the rapper had visited a motel with another woman, sharing pictures of the woman and phone call records. AP Alchemy denied the claims, accusing A of attempting to extort money from Yang and the woman.

According to the agency, A threatened their artist and the woman, attempting to extort money through false information when their demands were unsuccessful. Yang has not commented on the situation.
