Only a matter of time before everyone involved in sting operation is exposed, says Priyank Kharge

Home Minister Priyank Kharge stated on Saturday that all individuals involved in the alleged criminal conspiracy behind a sting operation targeting former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be exposed. He emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and will be concluded soon. Addressing reporters, Kharge asserted that it is only a matter of time before everyone implicated in the scheme is brought to light, including the perpetrators, the location, the method of execution, and the circumstances surrounding its circulation.

He noted that some claim the sting operation dates back to 2011, while others argue it occurred in 2023, but was only uploaded on social media in 2026. Kharge assured that the investigation will be carried out transparently and those whose names have emerged during the probe have been summoned for statements. He emphasized that there is no way to evade the impending charge sheet, which will ultimately be submitted to the court.

When asked about the possible involvement of Congress leaders, Kharge alleged that the video suggests a case of extortion and blackmail, stating that the visible faces in the footage cannot deny the allegations.
