Koku Anyidoho congratulates outgoing NDC Chairman Asiedu Nketia for his commitment to the party

Koku Anyidoho, a former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress and spokesperson for the late President John Evans Atta Mills, has expressed his congratulations to outgoing NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia. The two men have had a contentious past, but Anyidoho praised Nketia for his unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the party over the years.

Known widely as Mosquito, Nketia has played a pivotal role in the NDC's leadership and development. Anyidoho's remarks have stirred debate among some quarters, but he insists his message is simply to recognize Nketia's impact on the party's growth. Lawyer Obiri Boahen, in response, commended Anyidoho for his acknowledgment of Asiedu Nketia's efforts despite their differences.

Boahen suggested that Nketia's stepping down from the chairmanship will not hinder the NDC's progress, viewing it as a sign of a new chapter for the party. This discussion has reignited conversations around leadership changes within the NDC and the significance of party unity.
