How I Built an Autonomous B2B Data & Intelligence Suite on Apify and Base Mainnet (MCP + x402)

Over the past few weeks, I set out to build an end-to-end B2B data extraction and company intelligence suite tailored specifically for autonomous AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients, and modern outbound revenue engines (Clay.com and n8n). The portfolio is now live on the Apify Store under my developer profile, UnlimitedBands , and open-sourced as a public storefront on GitHub:…

In a recent endeavor, the author sought to construct a comprehensive B2B data extraction and company intelligence suite customized for autonomous AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients, and modern outbound revenue platforms such as Clay.com and n8n. The completed suite is now accessible on the Apify Store under the developer account, UnlimitedBands, and is also available as an open-source storefront on GitHub at campbellarchiezh-debug/b2b-mcp-agent-tools.

Below is an overview of the suite and the innovative application of on-chain micropayments to machine-to-machine data extraction.

The suite comprises five production scrapers, each meticulously designed for a distinct high-value B2B buyer persona. The B2B Domain Contact & ICP Enricher conducts deep crawls of company domains to gather verified founder emails, phone numbers, social links, 42 tech stack signatures (including Next.js, Stripe, HubSpot), DNS MX/SPF/DMARC status, and automated ICP lead scores.

The Tech Stack Hiring Intent Job Scraper monitors companies actively seeking employment across 58+ technologies (such as Snowflake, AWS, Kubernetes, OpenAI) and generates executive outreach icebreakers. The EU EAA / WCAG 2.2 Compliance Lead Auditor evaluates websites for compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and produces pre-configured CSS/HTML remediation code for agencies.

The SaaS Marketplace Negative Review Miner extracts 1-to-3 star competitor reviews from Shopify and WordPress to identify churning customers. Finally, the Swiss & EU Gov SHAB Trigger Leads extracts daily information on newly founded Swiss corporations (HR01) and municipal building permits from official gazettes.

Designed to power autonomous AI agents, the platform integrates the x402 Micropayment Protocol on Base Mainnet (EIP-155:8453). By utilizing Base USDC (0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913) as the asset and 0xef5766253e2d92e530e301ac22dcb8de78e89c55 as the payee, an agent is able to initiate a request and receive an HTTP 402 challenge with atomic USDC pricing ranging from $0.0020 to $0.0050.

Upon signing the transaction on Base, the dataset becomes immediately accessible. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration consolidates all tools into a single MCP endpoint, making it easily accessible for developers working with Claude Desktop and Cursor. The JSON payload contains the MCP servers setup, specifying the base URL for accessing the suite of tools through various actors, such as fetch-actor-details, b2b-domain-contact-icp-enricher, tech-stack-intent-job-scraper, eaa-wcag-compliance-lead-auditor, saas-marketplace-review-miner, and swiss-eu-gov-shab-trigger-leads.
