A significant breakthrough in two murder investigations aimed at a wanted police officer and prominent Nairobi lawyer Mathew Kyalo Mbobu, has been achieved with his arrest in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. Inspector Kenneth Kipkemboi Sang, the key suspect, was apprehended following intelligence from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Headquarters.
Initial reports indicate that Sang was involved in a land dispute over L.R. Number 1504/13, which could have served as a motive for the killings. The arrest marks a significant step forward in the pursuit of justice for the victims and their families.
