Dad Gives Birth to Baby Boy After Transitioning—'Dream Come True'

Chase Minnema, a 26-year-old video processor from Virginia, and his partner James Brewer, 29, are celebrating the arrival of their 6-week-old son. The couple, who met in September 2025, describe the experience as a "dream come true." Minnema began questioning his gender identity at 14 and later transitioned to living as a man. He started hormone therapy in 2016 and underwent top surgery.

Despite facing some challenges, including online negativity, Minnema and Brewer have focused on their love for their new son. They emphasized that their parenting approach remains consistent, regardless of comments from strangers. The couple expressed their hope to have more children biologically in the future, but for now, they are enjoying this precious time with their baby boy.
