Former President Bill Clinton went viral on Saturday morning after delivering a pointed jab at Donald Trump over his renovation of the White House Rose Garden. On Tuesday, Clinton campaigned for gubernatorial candidate David Jolly in Florida, marking his first appearance during the midterm elections. During his visit, Clinton took a moment to criticize Trump's transformation of the Rose Garden, stating, "I think Congress made a mistake not protesting turning the Rose Garden into what looks like the entrance to Liberace’s bathroom."
The humorous remark quickly gained traction online, with many social media users praising Clinton's clever and witty remark. The response was so strong that on Saturday, "Fox & Friends Weekend" picked up on the joke, further amplifying its reach. Social media users appreciated the jab, with one X user commenting, "Old Bubba got bangers," while another exclaimed, "10/10 zinger right there."
While some defended Liberace's memory, others questioned Clinton's right to criticize Trump, given his own controversial presidency.
