Sacha Baron Cohen has roped Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher into promoting his new movie, Ali G: Who Iz I? In a clip posted by Cohen, the comedian attempts to engage Gallagher at a screening of the film, commenting on his appearance and suggesting he's trying to make a comeback after 20 years. Noel, playfully responding as "Nigel Gallagher," jokes about the situation.
This promotional clip comes at a crucial time for the film's release, with Amazon/MGM having truncated its rollout. Gallagher recently appeared on Chicken Shop Date, where he made controversial remarks about vegetarians and the meaning of "Champagne Supernova," indicating his current involvement in the comedy scene.
