2027: Northern Nigerians will repay Tinubu with votes – Sani, Yari

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State declared on Saturday that no Nigerian President in history has shown the level of support for states comparable to that of President Bola Tinubu. During the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna, Sani lauded Tinubu for his agricultural support. Speaking for all Northern Nigerian governors, Sani said no leader in Nigeria's history has supported sub-national leaders in agriculture like Tinubu, as documented in statistics and dates.

The governor also praised Vice President Kashim Shettima, stating that under his leadership, the North-East witnessed the construction of approximately 1,000 kilometers of roads. Sani questioned why no northern candidate, including the current vice president, could present their track record of infrastructure development. He challenged the vice president to show just 200 kilometers of roads he personally contributed to constructing in the North-East while serving as vice president, to which no one had provided an answer.
