US peace plan would offer Ukraine EU membership in exchange for dropping NATO bid, The Economist reports
The U.S. plan to end the war in Ukraine would, among other things, offer Ukraine an investment program and EU membership in exchange for abandoning its bid to join NATO, The Economist reported. For Russia, the plan calls for an easing of sanctions and a partial restoration of economic and political ties with the West.
