Jailer 2 Box Office Collection Day 8 Updates: Rajinikanth film earns over Rs 606 crore
On the eighth day of box office collections, Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 has maintained its impressive run, grossing over Rs 606 crore globally. After a strong first week, the film's momentum slowed in its second week, with Thursday's domestic collection dropping 39.1% to Rs 17.15 crore compared to Wednesday's Rs 28.15 crore. Despite this decline, the total India gross now stands at Rs 391.55 crore, and the film's worldwide gross has surpassed the coveted Rs 600 crore milestone.
Overseas, Jailer 2 earned Rs 5 crore on Thursday, raising its international gross to Rs 214.50 crore and bringing the worldwide total to Rs 606.05 crore. Director Nelson Dilipkumar expressed his gratitude for the audience's response, saying, "Theatres are going bonkers! Thalaivar magic hits different. Thank you, dear audience, for the phenomenal love and reception for Jailer 2."
Fellow actor Allu Arjun praised the film, calling it a showcase of Rajinikanth's star power and a commercial entertainer that keeps the adrenaline pumping.
