‘He Deserves It’ – Jonathan Di Bella Welcomes Wang Junguang Challenge After Stunning Prajanchai Upset

Jonathan Di Bella expressed satisfaction with Wang Junguang's performance after the Thai kickboxer's impressive upset victory over Prajanchai Pongsuphan PK at ONE Championship's Inner Circle 35 event in Bangkok. The Chinese fighter, who had been absent from the sport for six years, returned with renewed vigor and secured a split-decision win, moving up to a 31-7 record and earning a spot in the World Title conversation.

Di Bella, the reigning ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion, noted that Wang appeared more in shape and hungry for a title shot compared to his previous fights. The Italian-Canadian champion expressed his support for Wang's quest for the belt, stating that it was his dream and that he deserved the opportunity. The possibility of a rematch between Di Bella and Wang Junguang, which was previously canceled due to flight issues and quarantine complications during the COVID-19 pandemic, now appears more likely as both fighters continue to pursue their goals in the ring.
