Yung Miami, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves and others also dropped fresh projects.
This week's New Music Friday roundup features a diverse range of artists across various genres, vying for a spot on listeners' Halloween party playlists. Leading the pack is South Korean singer LISA with her Billboard Hot 100 hit "SaWaDiKa" from her EP Press Play, which also includes the newly released "Tarantino." LISA's bilingual set, timed for her upcoming Las Vegas residency, features an interpolation of Missy Elliott and Timbaland's 2003 song "Bomb Intro/Pass That Dutch" on the standout track "Cobra."
Other notable additions to the list include John Legend's Muse and Yung Miami's Watch Dis, marking the EGOT winner's first album-length collaboration with Pharrell Williams and Yung Miami's long-awaited debut solo studio album. Kacey Musgraves has also teased her forthcoming Middle of Nowhere Vol. 2: Tex Mex Tapes, a 16-track expansion of her acclaimed album. British DJ Sammy Virji's sophomore album, Open Late, and the surprise drop from Claud (Me and the Music) round out this week's diverse selection of new music.
