Buttigieg endorses independent over Democratic nominee in Montana Senate race
Pete Buttigieg is endorsing independent Montana U.S. Senate candidate Seth Bodnar.
U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, the top Democratic investigator, is examining Tether's payments to Bo Hines' firm, Nxum Group, according to reports. Blumenthal, who chairs the Senate's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, sent letters to Tether and Nxum Group, raising concerns about the ethical and legal implications of these transactions.
The inquiry focuses on a political action committee associated with Tether and Hines' role in cryptocurrency legislation. Tether CEO Paulo Ardoino has not yet responded to Blumenthal's requests for information.
