UK P&I Club and TT Club announce the successful completion of their joint acquisition of the Thomas Miller Holdings group

The UK P&I Club and TT Club have successfully completed the acquisition of Thomas Miller Holdings group, a significant milestone in the formation of the United Transport Mutual. This acquisition, finalized on October 21, 2026, signifies a strategic move towards establishing a unified and efficient management structure for the merged organization.

By combining the resources and capabilities of the UK P&I Club, TT Club, and Thomas Miller under a single mutual model, the transaction lays a solid foundation for United Transport Mutual. Scheduled to be established through the merger of the two clubs on February 20, 2027, United Transport Mutual aims to leverage the strengths of its constituent entities to provide superior service, innovation, and long-term value to its members.

Jan Valkier, Chairman of the UK P&I Club, expressed the importance of this achievement, stating that the completion of the acquisition marks a defining moment for both the UK P&I Club and TT Club. By integrating Thomas Miller Holdings into the mutual structure, the Clubs can now offer the same high-quality expertise and service that their members have come to expect, ensuring that the benefits created by the acquisition continue to serve the interests of the members.

Morten Engelstoft, Chairman of the TT Club, emphasized the next phase of the journey, highlighting the priority of ensuring a smooth and carefully managed transition for the members and employees as the merger progresses towards completion in February 2027. This will culminate in the creation of the United Transport Mutual, a leading transport and logistics mutual that will benefit from the combined strengths of the three entities involved.
