UCL: Fernandes, Carrick clash over tactics after 4-1 loss to Como

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and head coach Michael Carrick appeared to clash over the team's tactical approach following a 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como. The loss left fans frustrated and raised questions about Carrick's future. Carrick apologized to the 700 supporters who traveled to watch the game, and his reaction after the final whistle also drew attention.

Fernandes questioned the decision not to press aggressively, suggesting that United's approach allowed Como to gain confidence and control the game. While Carrick emphasized the importance of effort and commitment, Fernandes' comments suggested that a more aggressive approach was needed, particularly when attempting to win possession and prevent opponents from settling in.

The differing perspectives between Fernandes and Carrick have drawn attention due to Fernandes' position as captain and the pressure he faces.
