The MSI Cyborg 15 is a 'solid budget gaming laptop' — and this RTX 5050 model with an Intel i5 and 16GB of RAM is now $899 at Walmart
Walmart has surprised me with one of the best value gaming laptop deals right now, with a $400 saving on this MSI Cyborg 15 that features an RTX 5050, 16GB of RAM, and a 144Hz display.
The MSI Cyborg 15, a budget gaming laptop, is now available at Walmart for $899, down from its original price of $1,299. This laptop features an Intel i5 processor, 16GB of RAM, an RTX 5050 graphics card, and a 15.6-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. While it may not have the most powerful components, it is more than capable of handling less-demanding games, indie titles, and older games like Fortnite, Roblox, and League of Legends in 1080p resolution.
The included 512GB SSD provides ample storage for a significant number of modern games, although it may require some management to keep only the most frequently played titles installed. Overall, the MSI Cyborg 15 represents a solid choice as a budget gaming laptop under $1,000. With its mid-range components, this laptop offers a great value for gamers seeking an affordable yet capable system for running less intensive games and popular competitive titles in 1080p.
