Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo & Chappell Roan and Zach Bryan & Lana Del Rey Should All Crash the Hot 100 Next Week — Who’s Got the Best Shot at No. 1?
It’s gonna be a stacked week for big debuts and movers on the Hot 100 — but Taylor Swift and Ella Langley still stand in their way.
For the past three weeks, Taylor Swift's "Patient Zero" and Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" have been the top two songs on the Billboard Hot 100. However, next week, a trio of highly anticipated releases from major artists could potentially shatter this dominance. Tate McRae's "Housewife" seems to have the best shot at No. 1, as it generated buzz through its title and a high-profile appearance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Olivia Rodrigo's remix of "Expectations," featuring Chappell Roan, also has the potential to climb the charts due to its unique remix concept and game show-set music video featuring notable guests. Lastly, Zach Bryan and Lana Del Rey's collaboration on "Lies" might surprise fans due to their different genre backgrounds, but given their devoted fanbases, it could also be a strong contender for the top spot.
