Roma looking to make two signings in January

Roma is preparing for the January transfer window with plans to bolster their squad. Sporting director Tony D’Amico has stated that the Giallorossi aim to make the team more competitive and capable of handling the season’s numerous fixtures. The club’s management has confirmed its interest in several players identified over the past months, with the intention of seizing any opportunities during the upcoming transfer window.

D’Amico spoke to Sky Sport, expressing Roma’s willingness to support head coach Gian Piero Gasperini while maintaining a high level of focus on current commitments. He noted that January is still a long way off, and the team is currently concentrating on its own objectives before evaluating potential signings. These comments reinforce the club’s dedication to providing Gasperini with the necessary resources to address every match effectively.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma remains interested in Dutch winger Jayden Oosterwolde, a player they followed last summer. However, any move for the player would depend on his fitness, as an injury had previously delayed the transfer. Should Oosterwolde fully recover and demonstrate sufficient athletic promise, Roma could reconsider the acquisition.

Additionally, the Brazilian striker Endrick continues to be monitored by Roma for the winter transfer window, despite statements from manager José Mourinho, who has not altered their interest in him.
