Razer has unveiled the Kraken Kitty V3, a new gaming headset that combines features from its previous models. Positioned between the Kraken Kitty V3 X and V3 Pro, the Kraken Kitty V3 offers wired connectivity and a flexible, non-retractable HyperClear Cardioid Mic. However, it incorporates RGB lighting on its cat ears and earcups, a feature more prominent in the V3 Pro.
Designed for streamers, the headset's Chroma RGB lighting can be customized via the Streamer Companion app to respond to stream alerts, emotes, and chat activity. Users can even power the lighting using a connected power bank when away from their gaming setup, thanks to the Cosplay Mode, which offers three onboard lighting presets accessed through a multi-function button.
The headphones utilize TriForce 40mm drivers, delivering deep bass and "studio-clear" commentary. They also provide 7.1 surround sound for enhanced spatial audio. Built with plastic, the Kraken Kitty V3 weighs 315 grams and offers physical controls including a mic mute button, a multi-function button, and a volume dial. Available in Black, Quartz, and White, the headset is priced at RM459 and can be purchased directly from Razer's official website.
