LLM, PCSB apologise for Tuju disruption, say actively restoring and upgrading app after user complaints

JAKARTA, Oct 22 — The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) is actively restoring and upgrading the Tuju navigation app following a surge in user numbers that caused technical disruptions, the agency announced today. In a media release, LLM expressed regret for the difficulties users faced when using the application. The agency disclosed it is working with the app’s provider, Prosignal Consortium Sdn Bhd (PCSB), to determine the cause of the disruptions, restore system stability, and increase the app's capacity to manage the growing user base.

LLM made the statement after receiving public feedback on the app’s technical problems, which surfaced after Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim hinted at using the local navigation app. Apart from system stability, LLM said it is also addressing user concerns over navigation functions, route accuracy, and overall user experience.

"Enhancements will continue to be made to ensure Tuju provides more stable, accurate, and user-friendly services," the agency stated, as per Bernama. LLM emphasized that building public trust relies on dependable service quality. Therefore, it said efforts to improve Tuju include not only system stability but also improving navigation functions, data accuracy, and the app's ability to meet user needs.

Tuju was launched on November 26, 2025, as a highway navigation app developed by PCSB in partnership with LLM. It offers features like traffic updates and emergency assistance to aid users during highway trips. In line with the government's emphasis on enhancing cybersecurity and national digital sovereignty, LLM said it will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Works (KKR), the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), and other relevant entities to strengthen the local navigation ecosystem, including security and data governance aspects.

Users facing issues or wanting to provide feedback on the app can send an email to feedback@prosignalconsortium.my.
