Leica Q3 43 Formula 1 Edition Arrives In Malaysia For RM40,290

Leica has introduced the Q3 43 Formula 1 Edition, a limited edition of its full-frame compact camera that showcases a racing-inspired design. This special version was developed in partnership with Formula 1, a motorsport company, and incorporates several cosmetic changes inspired by the sport. Despite its sporty exterior, the camera maintains Leica's original design.

The most striking feature of the Q3 43 Formula 1 Edition is its genuine carbon fibre components. These include the wireless charging handgrip, thumb rest, and soft-release button, all manufactured and tested in Germany. The camera also comes with a black Microvelour covering that mirrors the texture of a racing steering wheel. Red accents on the soft-release button and one of the thumb rest's function buttons further enhance its motorsport-inspired look. The top plate and lens cap of the camera bear the F1 logo.

In addition to its distinctive appearance, the Q3 43 Formula 1 Edition includes a rope carrying strap emblazoned with both Leica and Formula 1 branding. The package also features custom packaging with a red inlay. The camera's unique "Formula 1 Leica Look" is designed to capture the atmosphere of the racetrack and paddock. This look enhances colors with higher contrast and richer saturation, creating a more pronounced image without the need for post-processing.
