Vice President JD Vance visited the Cincinnati Bengals' Paycor Stadium on Wednesday, stopping by after speaking at a rally in the suburb of Sharonville. As the players left practice, most offered little more than a passing nod, walking directly past Vance. The Ohio native was captured in an 18-second video by Sports Director Charlie Clifford, showing tight end Drew Sample fist-bumping Vance's son Vivek before briefly shaking the vice president's hand.
Head coach Zac Taylor also shook Vance's hand before entering the locker room. However, Cincinnati Enquirer reporter Kelsey Conway recorded a separate video revealing that star quarterback Joe Burrow did not get a chance to meet with Vance. Burrow stated, "I didn’t get to," adding that he only learned about the visit after practice had already begun.
