iOS 27 adds new Phone app feature that’s an instant favorite

iOS 27 introduces a new Phone app feature called Call Context, which has quickly become an instant favorite for many users. Call Context is an Apple Intelligence feature that proactively surfaces relevant information from across your apps while you're on a call with a business. This means that when making a call to a business, Call Context can automatically display relevant data such as a confirmation code from Mail when calling an airline.

Users have found this feature to be incredibly helpful and convenient. For example, a user recently booked flights with Southwest Airlines and needed to call the airline about a change. Call Context was able to display the flight information directly on the screen and even offered to read the confirmation number out loud during the call.

The feature is smart enough to include details for multiple flights stacked underneath the primary one. Call Context is currently available in English and is limited to devices that support Apple Intelligence, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.
