Guardians manager Stephen Vogt says he’ll be back with club, dismisses rumors about move to Mariners

Cleveland Guardians manager Stephen Vogt has dismissed rumors of a potential move to the Seattle Mariners. Vogt, who has led the Guardians to a division crown in each of his three seasons, stated that he will return to the club next season to chase a World Series title. The 41-year-old has not been contacted by the Mariners, and it is believed to be purely a media-driven speculation.

Former Mariners manager Dan Wilson was fired last month after a disappointing 76-86 season. Vogt addressed his decision to stay with the Guardians, citing the difficulty of being away from his family and the support of his wife. The team's recent success, including clinching the division and defeating the White Sox in the Division Series, has contributed to Vogt's confidence in staying with the team.
