Epic Games Store Makes 2 PC Games Completely Free This Week

The Epic Games Store is currently providing two popular PC games free of charge for a limited time. These titles include a horror first-person shooter and a murder mystery game.

Sker Ritual, a co-op horror shooter, allows players to battle swarms of terrifying enemies either alone or with a team of up to four online. The game takes an old-school approach, employing a round-based system for combat. As you progress, you'll acquire new abilities and upgrades from Celtic gods, which are crucial for surviving countless waves of monsters. Sker Ritual has garnered nearly 4,000 positive reviews from Steam players.

Home, on the other hand, is a classic pixel art horror game originally released in 2012. In this game, you wake up in a house that isn't yours and must investigate a murder mystery. The story unfolds based on the clues you gather and the actions you take, resulting in different endings for each player. Developer BancyCo offers a unique Postmortem Mode, providing insights into the game's development through a developer diary and gallery.

To claim these free games, simply log in to the Epic Games Store and take advantage of the offer, which will be available until 11 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Oct. 29.
