Dungeon Crawler Carl Is Officially Getting a New Release Next Year
Dungeon Crawler Carl is getting a comic book series from Vault Comics in 2027
In 2027, Dungeon Crawler Carl fans can look forward to an exciting new release: the adaptation of Matt Dinniman's popular LitRPG series into a comic book. According to Variety, Vault Comics will publish an ongoing Dungeon Crawler Carl comic, bringing the webtoon adaptation to the larger comic-book format. The comic will feature writer Tevagah and artwork by Laurel Pursuit Studios, with Kuzomari joining the series to adapt the art for the comic-book medium. Nathan Gooden will provide the main covers, with various variants also available.
Dinniman, who announced the comic adaptation, expressed his excitement about working with some of the best creators and artists in the industry. The first issue of the Dungeon Crawler Carl comic will be a double-sized, 48-page issue, set to be released in January 2027. Dinniman is currently working on the ninth book in the series, tentatively titled "The Beautiful Place," with the author sharing the prologue and early chapters.
If Dinniman maintains his usual writing pace, the ninth book could be released by late 2027, marking the conclusion to the series and paving the way for a potential tenth installment.
