‘Don’t get girls pregnant at 13-14 and abandon them’: UP Governor to students

Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel warned students against teenage pregnancies, cautioning that boys should not "get girls pregnant at the age of 13-14 and abandon them." Speaking at Maharishi University of Information Technology's convocation ceremony, Patel emphasized the importance of young people fulfilling their promises, becoming self-reliant, and supporting their partners.

She urged students to stay away from wrongdoing and discouraged live-in relationships and pregnancies outside marriage. The Governor, who is the Chancellor of state universities, has been actively visiting institutes, inspecting facilities, and addressing students on various social issues.
