Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt confirms that Peter Quill/Star-Lord is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an unrevealed movie.
Chris Pratt has officially confirmed that Star-Lord will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, which concluded in 2023, left the character returning to Earth and starting a new life. In an interview on The Playlist's Bingeworthy podcast, Pratt revealed that he has a strong relationship with Kevin Feige and Lou D’Esposito, and there have been ongoing discussions to fulfill the promise of Star-Lord's return.
While Pratt did not disclose the specific timing, he emphasized that Star-Lord is not going anywhere. He also mentioned that he has an idea of how Marvel Studios may use him in future projects, though he declined to specify whether he would appear in the upcoming Avengers movies, Doomsday and Secret Wars. Pratt expressed his enthusiasm for contributing to the next decade of storytelling, and he is open to any role that would support setting up the next 10 years.
