Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that Anthony Baffoe has withdrawn from the committee responsible for selecting a new head coach for the Black Stars. The committee, which was established in response to Carlos Queiroz's departure, was originally comprised of Baffoe, Stephen Appiah, Agbesi Dzakpasu, and Faisal Chibsah.
The decision was made following a meeting last week, with Baffoe informed by the committee chairman, Fred Pappoe. The interim team, led by Kim Lars Björkegren, is currently overseeing the team's upcoming matches, including the November AFCON qualifying double-header against Somalia.
