“We Cannot Allow Delays”: Sybiha Negotiates With Partners To Speed Up Air Defense System Deliveries To Ukraine

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with European partners to negotiate the expedited delivery of air defense systems to Ukraine. The Swedish, Finnish, and Spanish ministers of foreign affairs expressed their willingness to engage in constructive dialogue, according to UATV English. Sybiha also arranged meetings with counterparts from the Netherlands, Poland, Latvia, and Germany, and held phone conversations with the UK's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.

The discussions centered on bolstering support for Ukraine and intensifying pressure on Russia to cease its aggression. Sybiha emphasized the need to expedite the delivery of air defense systems, interceptors, and ammunition to enhance Ukraine's energy security during winter and advance the opening of EU accession negotiation clusters.

Sybiha expressed concern that Russia's attacks are not being slowed down and that delays in providing necessary protection for Ukraine's citizens cannot be tolerated. He shared these sentiments on X.
