Real Madrid secured a comfortable 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig at home, setting the stage for their upcoming El Clasico clash against Barcelona. The first half saw the teams locked in a tight contest, with Bernardo Silva leveling the score in the 38th minute after Maarten Vandevoordt's blocked shot provided him with an opportune finish.
However, the second half saw Real Madrid take full control, as Kylian Mbappe doubled the lead just seven minutes after halftime with a powerful header from Bellingham's cross. The visitors continued to dominate, with Yan Diomande sealing the win with an extraordinary volley from Brahim Diaz's cross, adding to Mbappe's stunning curling goal earlier.
Substitute Tidjam Gomis scored a consolation goal for Leipzig before Diomande's match-winning strike. The win brings Real Madrid's record to a perfect start in the competition, while RB Leipzig remains winless in their first three games. The team will now head to the Camp Nou confident and prepared for their highly anticipated showdown with Barcelona.
