Samara Weaving joins Olivia Wilde's Naughty holiday comedy

Samara Weaving has joined the cast of Olivia Wilde's upcoming holiday comedy, Naughty, for Universal Pictures. The film, written by Jimmy Warden and produced by Wilde, will also feature Jimmy Warden's regular collaborators Jennifer Aniston, Peter Dinklage, Regina Hall, Chase Sui Wonders, and Ike Barinholtz. Naughty is described as "Bridesmaids in the North Pole," with a focus on a mother, played by Aniston, seeking custody of her son with the help of Santa Claus, played by Dinklage.

Weaving will portray Barinholtz's on-screen mistress. Wilde has been attached to direct the film since 2023, following her successful directorial debut in A24's The Invite. Weaving has been active lately, starring in Over Your Dead Body, Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come, and set to join the X-Men reboot as Emma Frost.
